Zhongxing-16 satellite communication services
Launched on April 12, 2017 by Long March-3B carrier rocket, Zhongxing-16 provides 26 user beams covering China and offshore areas, and may be used in the fields including remote education, medical service, Internet access, airborne and maritime communication, and emergency communication. Now, Startime has reached a deal with China Satellite Communications Co., Ltd., renting part of Zhongxing-16 bandwidth resources to conduct its own business.
IPSTAR Satellite broadband system services
IPSTAR satellite broadband system adopts the cellular spot beam frequency multiplexing technology and satellite dynamic power allocation technology. This system combines satellite communication with the IP-based broadband service, to serve as backup and supplemental for terrestrial broadband network and vise versa, providing integrated information services including broadband Internet access, voice, data, video and multimedia to domestic users. Now, Startime has inked an agreement with Thaicom to provide voice, data and video communications services via IPSTAR.
